As a 1980 graduate of New Jersey Institute of Technology, Dennis opened his career as one of CUH2A’s senior construction project managers, heading up projects for Trenton State College, Rutgers University and Princeton Plasma Laboratory before starting the architectural firm of Devino and Associates in 1984.

With offices in Monmouth and Atlantic Counties, the firm designed a variety of different projects throughout the state including the pedestrian bridge and skywalk for the Bally’s Grand. From 1993 to 1997 he headed up the New York office for A. Epstein and Sons, architects and engineers based out of Chicago specializing in school renovations for the School Construction Authority.

In 1997 Dennis partnered with a New Jersey Developer to form the Owner/Developer group of Manhattan Building Company and Park Avenue Design Group in Hoboken. In 2003, after designing and building over $300,000,000 worth of residential and commercial real estate in Hudson County, the group merged with Toll Brothers to form Toll’s urban entity known today as City Living by Toll. As Director of Design and Construction, his four-year contract with Toll Brothers created projects such as 700 Grove, a 230 condominium in Jersey City, and Maxwell Place, a 164 unit luxury condo in Hoboken.

Dennis brings over twenty-seven years of architectural and construction experience as Principal of Devino Architects and Associates, specializing in high-rise and multi-family development. His current designs have ranged from various urban infill projects, a 2,200 residential unit approved re-development plan at the Jersey City Danforth Transit Village, as well as the 20 story residential high-rise in the Jersey Avenue Park Re-Development District know as the Cast Iron Lofts.
