The Sky Club, originally named The Gateway, was pre-approved in 1998 as a rental complex. When the project was acquired in 2001, the design study recommended that there be changes made to improve the vehicular circulation and life-style quality. To respond to the high condominium demand at the time, the project was re-tooled mid-stream to go condo. Those changes proved to be critical to the projects success. By 2004 all 325 residential units were sold and commercial spaces filled. Shortly thereafter the 26,000 sf health and fitness center was opened above the 431 space parking structure.
